Hi Guys,
I'm new on here and after your advice. Ive just started on my second course of Deca this year. Did it on its own first time but kick-starting it with D Bol. Noticing good gains all over already apart from the abs. no matter what i do, i cant seem to see my abs. i've been training hard for two years but never had any joy. I'm training 5 times a week intensively and have 18% BF, and diet pre-course was only 2500 calories per day but now upped it to 3000 whilst on gear. I wanted to increase calories to 3500 but last time i did that i looked like Homer Simpson with pecs!!! I believe i'm eating the right types of food as well. i only do cardio once a week as i'm trying to maintain the muscle gains i've made and i don't remember reading about Arnie running 5km each day in his prime!! Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong and how to improve would be greatly appreciated. If its simply a case of more cardio, how do i go about it without it being counter productive? Thanks |

the thing is to loose your gut you will loose a little size, as far as i know upping the cardio is the only way to do it. imo lower the calories not the protein keep pumping the weights and do cardio 2 or 3 times a week not excessive amounts but 20mins mid to high intensity before breakfast will help.

i think beefy is right cardio is a must for loosing bodyfat and aslong as you keep weight training and keeping the calories reasonabily high you shouldnt have a problem

thanks guys, i was worried you might say that!!!
I've been delibrately keeping the calories down for the reasons i stated but would like to bulk up a bit more. Would you say that if i up the cardio as you suggested, i should be able to up calories and maybe add the extra bulk but without comprimising abs too much?? |
